We present a binuclear cobalt complex stabilized by a new pyrazole-based ligand platform substituted with terpyridine groups. The dicobalt complex is electrocatalytically active towards carbon monoxide formation, from carbon dioxide in the presence of Bronsted acids. The terpyridine fragments participate during the electrocatalysis, reducing the overpotential of the reduction reaction.
