The selection of rhodium precatalyst and phosphine ligand determines the course of the cycloisomerization of N-allylated bicyclo[1.1.0]butylalkylamines. Cyclopropane-fused pyrrolidines and azepines are obtained with high levels of stereo- and regiocontrol.
