phosphanylthiol PPh(2-C6H4SH)(2) reacts with the Ni-II and Pd-II complexes [MCl2L2] in the presence of NaOEt to give the mononuclear derivatives [MPPh(C6H4S)(2)}L] [M = Ni, L = PPh3 (1), PPh2Me (2); M = Pd, L = PPh3 (3)].
