A series of novel ricinoleic acid based lipoamino acid derivatives were synthesized from (Z)-methyl-12-aminooctadec-9-enoate and different l-amino acids (glycine, alanine, phenyl alanine, valine, leucine, isoleucine, proline and tryptophan).
