ACTION OF 3 BIOFLAVONOIDS, 3',4',7-TRIHYDROXYETHYLRUTOSIDE; 3',4',5,7-TETRAHYDROXYETHYLRUTOSIDE & PAROVEN, A MIXTURE OF MONOHYDROXYETHYLRUTOSIDE, DIHYDROXYETHYLRUTOSIDE, TRIHYDROXYETHYLRUTOSIDE, & TETRAHYDROXYETHYLRUTOSIDE, ON EFFECTS OF IDPN WAS STUDIED. THE BIOFLAVONOIDS RETARDED DEVELOPMENT & AMELIORATED SEVERITY OF NEURAL & OCULAR SYMPTOMS PRODUCED BY LOW LEVELS OF IDPN, BUT THE PATHOLOGICAL CHANGES WERE NEVER COMPLETELY PREVENTED.
